You’ve likely heard it said that “fly line is the most important part of your set up,” but do you know why?
Whether you’re new to fly fishing or looking to fine-tune your setup, this class will demystify the many types of fly lines available and help you to select the best one for your specific needs!

In this class we discuss how the grain weight, coating, and taper of a line changes how it interacts with different fly rods, flies, and casting scenarios. You'll learn how to read fly line specs, understand the differences between weight-forward, double taper, sinking, and shooting heads, and how to care for and maintain your lines between use.
