LWFF Abel Reels Rove Reel - Fly Fish the Republic
Living Waters Fly Fish the Republicâ„¢ Abel Rove Reel
Built for anglers who don't stay in one place, the Abel Rove is a rugged, high-capacity reel engineered to handle everything from Hill Country limestone creeks to saltwater flats. Machined in the USA from aerospace-grade aluminum, its full-frame caged design and large-arbor spool deliver serious durability and fast retrieval, whether you're chasing Guadalupe bass at home or traveling further afield.
This reel carries our exclusive Fly Fish the Republic™ drag plate, custom-designed for Living Waters Fly Fishing. The design draws on the historical Republic of Texas — a territory that once stretched far beyond today's state lines, reaching into present-day New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wyoming. It's a nod to the wide, wild footprint of water Texas anglers have always claimed as their own.
Every Fly Fish the Republicâ„¢ reel also supports our shop-led conservation program, funding real research on the waters we fish.
